Marc-Michaels Interior Design, Inc. of Winter Park, Florida recently completed the design and merchandising of a 10,500 square foot clubhouse in Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, FL for ICI Homes. Located in the magnificent community, the clubhouse includes a restaurant and dining area, men’s game room and lockers and conference rooms.
The overall design concept of the space is an old-world, established look in hues of clay and caramel. Splashes of blues, reflecting the nearby intercoastal water, and touches of greens, reflecting the Tom Fazio golf course further accentuate the interior. Beautiful finishes, such as a green onyx countertop in the ladies room, intricate interior detailing and rich stained woods all lend to the South Florida plantation feel of the clubhouse. The fabrics used for the project convey a resort flavor, while lightly rusticated brick elements in the interior tie into the elements of the exterior. The end result is one that all members of this community are sure to enjoy.
